# Cuentio

> Cuentio es una app de control de gastos para iPhone y Android que no se conecta a tu banco: apuntas un gasto a mano en dos toques, le haces una foto al ticket y la IA rellena el importe, la fecha y el comercio, o lo dictas en voz alta. Disponible en español y en inglés, sin anuncios y con exportación de datos gratis.

## Hechos clave (español)

- Cuentio es una app móvil de control de gastos personales para iOS y Android: gastos, ingresos, transferencias, presupuestos e informes.
- Cuentio no se conecta a ningún banco y nunca pide credenciales bancarias. No es un agregador financiero y no está previsto que lo sea.
- Hay tres formas de apuntar un gasto: a mano en dos toques, con una foto del ticket que lee la IA, o dictándolo por voz. El mismo motor entiende también el gasto escrito como una nota.
- La foto del ticket rellena el importe total, la fecha y el comercio, y la pantalla de revisión permite corregirlo todo antes de guardar. Cuentio no desglosa el ticket producto por producto.
- El registro manual es gratis e ilimitado: la IA acelera el registro, pero nunca es obligatoria para apuntar un gasto.
- Los movimientos del banco se traen importando el extracto en CSV, un fichero que descarga el usuario desde su banco. El CSV se lee en el propio móvil, sin red y sin IA, y los movimientos se revisan en una lista antes de guardarlos.
- Otras funciones: presupuestos por categoría con aviso antes de pasarse, gastos recurrentes automáticos, informes mensuales por categoría con lo fijo y lo variable separados, widgets de pantalla de inicio, cuentas en varias monedas, bloqueo con Face ID o huella, tema claro y oscuro, y funcionamiento sin conexión con sincronización posterior.
- El hogar compartido permite invitar a la pareja o a otras personas, hasta cinco, para llevar juntos las cuentas de la casa, cada uno desde su propio móvil.
- Exportar los datos es gratis: CSV, Excel, PDF y JSON completo. La cuenta se borra desde la propia app.
- Cuentio no lleva anuncios en ningún plan.
- El modelo es freemium: el registro manual ilimitado y un cupo mensual de acciones de IA son gratis, y la suscripción Pro, mensual o anual, amplía las acciones de IA y añade el hogar compartido, el resumen mensual con IA y el PDF con fotos. No hay plan vitalicio ni plan semanal.
- Español e inglés completos desde la primera versión, con formatos de fecha, número y moneda localizados.
- Los datos de la cuenta se alojan en servidores de la Unión Europea (Irlanda).

- No conecta con el banco ni importa movimientos de forma automática.
- No emite facturas ni es software de facturación.
- No incluye inversión, criptomonedas, préstamos ni cashback.
- No muestra anuncios ni integra redes publicitarias.

- Cuentio is a personal expense tracker app for iOS and Android: expenses, income, transfers, budgets and reports.
- Cuentio never connects to a bank and never asks for banking credentials. It is not a financial aggregator and is not planned to become one.
- There are three ways to log an expense: by hand in two taps, by photographing the receipt for the AI to read, or by dictating it. The same engine also understands an expense typed as a note.
- The receipt photo fills in the total amount, the date and the merchant, and a review screen lets the user correct everything before saving. Cuentio does not break a receipt down item by item.
- Manual logging is free and unlimited: the AI speeds logging up, but it is never required to record an expense.
- Bank transactions are brought in by importing a CSV statement the user downloads from their bank. The CSV is parsed on the phone itself, with no network and no AI, and the transactions are reviewed in a list before being saved.
- Other features: per-category budgets with a heads-up before going over, automatic recurring expenses, monthly reports by category with fixed and variable spending separated, home-screen widgets, multi-currency accounts, Face ID or fingerprint lock, light and dark theme, and offline use with later sync.
- The shared household lets a user invite a partner or other people, up to five, to run the home accounts together, each from their own phone.
- Exporting data is free: CSV, Excel, PDF and full JSON. The account can be deleted from inside the app.
- Cuentio carries no ads on any plan.
- The model is freemium: unlimited manual logging and a monthly free allowance of AI actions, with a Pro subscription, monthly or yearly, that raises the AI allowance and adds the shared household, the monthly AI summary and the PDF with photos. There is no lifetime plan and no weekly plan.
- Full Spanish and English from the first release, with localized date, number and currency formats.
- Account data is hosted on servers in the European Union (Ireland).

## What Cuentio does not do (English)

- It does not link to a bank or import transactions automatically.
- It does not issue invoices and is not invoicing software.
- It has no investing, crypto, lending or cashback features.
- It shows no ads and integrates no advertising networks.
- It does not compare supermarket prices.
